My Anime List
Last edited on February 16, 2026
Hello again and welcome back to another (random) post by Barra™ and this time it's not an anecdote, neither a very constructed article about my opinion about the Internet, music or my experience. About my website? naah, you guys are all here because of this since I was born.
Anime time, baby!!!
SKIP; JUMP DIRECTLY TO THE FUN
Totally expected from a Chilean, right? but not from Barra™™.
Now in all seriousness, I wasn't an anime lover. I mostly watched western cartoons as a child and teenager.
All I ever watched were Dragon Ball, Doraemon, Shin-chan and, uhhh, a few others that I will mention on the list... (speaking of, have you skipped to the list already?).
But since 2017 or so started watching some by my own, starting with Little Witch Academia and it was so epic to me that it was my favorite. Years later rewatched a few shows that I watched when I was younger and then in 2023 started watching new ones like "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!" and "One Punch Man" (in quotation marks so you'll identify full titles like that). The later I already watched because of my brother 10 years ago but now watched the, let's be honest, disappointing second season...
Have you skipped??? This is already boring to read, do it NOW
And so my addiction to anime started to grow when I watched Mob Psycho 100 for the first time, like, wow, what a show. Just because a student in my University showed their PowerPoint presentation to the class about the plot and everything, I was like "I'm digging it".
I don't remember correctly if I started watching Death Note or Attack on Titan first during those days (it was Spy × Family, I forgot) but who cares about order and the impact you get after watching something, right?
SPEAKING of.... SKIP THIS NONSENSE

And so, my addiction to... wait, I already said- I mean, I already wrote that, damn...
Well, instead of deleting this part, I'm leaving it there and the post will be this big.
Speaking of big, my addiction to Anime grow bigger and bigger to the point that I was watching 3 animes simultaneously, it was that crazy. HOWEVER, this pleasure wouldn't last long because starting 2025 I got more and more busy on my personal life that now I don't have that same freedom and time to be watching various animes at the same time, but still watched a few more but now with my sister shows like "Mashle", "Sakamoto Days", "Parasyte -the maxim-" and others. I then suggested to my sister to watch "DanDaDan" and "Delicious in Dungeon". She liked both a lot :)
HOW ARE YOU STILL READING THI- oh, now it seems like the moment that I make the list.
Anime List by Barra™™™™™™™™
In no particular order. This is subject to change overtime.
Land of the Lustrous. A few years back saw someone mentioning this anime on a comment section while I was rewatching Steven Universe and, what an experience it was. From what I remember that one arc where the main character accomplishes everything she wanted after a few episodes was badly paced imo, but the rest of it was a delight. It's only 12 episodes, go watch it. A tier.
Attack On Titan. Didn't finish this, last season is what I have left because if you read my entire post, I got busy this year but I heard many about the finale being disappointing and, probably I should have my expectations low. As of right now, incredible show! I watched a few of the first episodes when I was younger because of my brother and so wanted to watch it full recently and, yeah, it is that incredible. A+ tier for now.
Shinzo. One of the first anime shows that I watched when I was a child, and I remember not missing a single episode while it was aired on a TV station, it was that amazing for me but I didn't thought I've watched it entirely, so I rewatched it many years back and... it wasn't that special like what I remember but hey, it's pretty fun at least. B tier.
Sakamoto Days. Chaotic and fun, that should describe this anime. Loved every moment when Mr. Sakamoto was on screen, what a man. Waiting for that second season. A- tier for now.
The Seven Deadly Sins. Another anime that I wanted to rewatch after more than 10 years the same reason as Attack on Titan but oh man, I didn't like this at all. At the pretty least the first opening was fire. I got so bored of this one that I stopped watching it by the end of the first season and I didn't felt like keep watching it, ever. E tier.
Dragon Ball Z. The anime of all time. Didn't watch the whole thing like, ever. Many episodes from different arcs I saw since I was a child but never the whole thing, and got bored with the Cell saga as of recently last year. D+ tier.
Parasyte -the maxim-. Do I have to say something? please watch it, c'mon. The animation, writing, characters, everything, just flawless. S- tier.
Little Witch Academia. sigh So... this show is still special for me after all these years. The message it delivers during the second part pretty much reflects today society. Might be a bit cliche in some places but how could you hate this one? Lovely characters everywhere. I still recommend this.
A+ tier.Marco, or 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother. One of the first ones that I saw. It was 2007, being aired on a TV station and I loved it so much that I cried a few times while watching it, and even so after more than 10 years revisiting it I still cried. Such a nostalgic piece of animation from the late 70's that probably would disappear the more time goes by. No other show is like this one, I think, I never watched Heidi or Candy Candy, lol. A tier.
Elfen Lied. What a flashbang after mentioning the last one, wasn't it?. This is an anime that will change you forever. Not because of its violent nature, it's because of its animation, dialogue and story. Nothing will be the same after watching it. An unique, unforgettable experience. I recommend it. S+ tier.
The Rising of the Shield Hero. One of the rarest times where I felt bad for the protagonist. While it's flawed in terms of characters and world building, the main cast carries the entire anime. Just watched the first season, still need to see the rest. A tier for now.
Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!. It was 2022, I was only watching western cartoons and never thought watching anime at that point but when I encountered this one on TV, I liked a lot what I was watching, so I went on this weird journey of watching anime on my own that isn't an old one that I watched when I was little. I'll say that, if you're an artist, or an enthusiastic animator, you're gonna love this a lot. It's a short series and has a very chilling vibes. I love the characters and the animation a lot too. Worth checking out. A+ tier.
Doraemon (1979). I was like 2 years old when I was watching this one so probably the first one that I watched, or maybe Pokémon, idk. Nonetheless, this is just anime classic, has many more episodes that I never got the chance of watching, saw a few that weren't episodic and were life changing, I think. A- tier.
Mashle. This one is so bizarre and funny at the same time. What if Harry Potter was epic? This is it! But even so, even if it doesn't take everything so seriously, there were a few episodes that my brain was blank. Also the majority of the recurrent characters are like, uhm, not interesting. I don't think I'll be watching the rest if there will be a third season. The only good parts are when Mash is on screen. B tier.
Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!. Don't ask. C tier.
Dragon Ball. Also one of the first animes that I watched. It's still nostalgic to me to this day, and it still holds up today. What I loved the most from this anime in comparison to DBZ and GT (haven't watched Super and beyond) is the amount of thrill and adventure. The last two portions of the show is what I have left, someday I'll continue it. A tier for now.
Serial Experiments Lain. Lain. lA+in tier.
Mirmo Zibang. So little I remember of this but I'm pretty sure I watched a few more than, let's say, 10 episodes, when I was so little. I think it was good, maybe I should revisit it. B+ tier for now.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Best. Anime. Ever. S+ tier.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. Eh. I remember liking it a lot but as of right now I only watched the first season many years ago with my sister. Not my kind. C+ tier.
Delicious in Dungeon. One of the best anime I've ever watched, it's so incredible from start to finish even if season 2 hasn't come out. The world building in this is surreal, and this is one RARE moment where I would love to continue by reading the manga (which already have with the first three chapters, the art is * chef's kiss *). Still waiting for second season. S+ tier.
One Punch Man. The first season is one of the best first seasons ever. That being said, the second season was disappointing. I don't know if on the manga occurs the same but the vast involvement of every hero character loses me, especially the villain which is like "I don't like heroes, they suck!" but then "you guys demons suck too, get out of my face" and ehm, bitch be consistent, what is your fucking point?. The animation was the least of the problems there, I know that the bar was already high but the story overall (and the shitty cliffhanger) of second season made the anime worse. Again, don't know if that also happens on the manga but still it was disappointing. (btw, I'm not in the mood of watching the third season, by that point I would just read the manga) B+ tier (could've been S- if wasn't because of that disappointment).
Natsume's Book of Friends. Don't expect something phenomenal in this, it's charming, it's sincere, it's optimistic, it's pleasant to watch and listen. Watched the first three seasons and I think there's a lot more but I liked it a lot, I'll continue it someday. A tier for now.
Death Note. Sometimes I think this is one of the best animes that I've ever watched and not at all at the same time. While I also enjoyed the last arc, I'll admit that the first part of it was something special. A sight to behold. S- tier.
Crayon Shin-chan. Another anime that I watched when I was a babey like Doraemon. Watched a few of newer ones last year and it was still enjoyable. A tier.
Dragon Ball GT. I don't have much to say about this. It's fine, just fine. Was very young when I watched this but saw more 10+ years later and it's still fine. The final scene is what makes this anime special. D tier, idk.
Himouto! Umaru-chan. Almost forgot this existed to the point I almost forgot to add this to the list. Watched it many years ago around the same time as "Demon Slayer" and "Spy × Family" because of my sister. Just watched the first season and nothing more. I don't quite remember what happens on the anime that my brain is already fried up. At least it was kind of funny if I remember correctly. C- tier.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War. Well, that was fun. A lot of fun. Loved every episode, such a funny ride of funny characters and funny plot points. And even then, they will slap you with the most compelling stories ever written. A worthy contender for your anime watch list. S tier.
Dandadan. This is very particular, it's some of the sweetest and compelling things but also the weirdest things you could ever watch in the world. Every aspect of it, especially the animation, is god tier. Waiting for that second season. S tier.
Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube (1996). It's, okay. Kind of your average anime from the 90's, nothing too special. What I really like about this one is that it's not predictable, every episode could end in a different way. The ending was pretty sweet. B tier.
Paranoia Agent. I'm still confused to this day about this anime. Don't know exactly what it is about exactly and damn it that's why it's so brilliant. I don't think I should know what happens and what it's trying to say. It's one of those that you theorize and have your own conclusions. S- tier.
Mob Psycho 100. Damn. We are in a row of peak. Or, should I say, peam?. This is still, one of my favorites animes, or even, one of my favorite series of all time. How can you make such many compelling characters while at the same time being this volatile regarding the animation, music and story. Also, it's one of the rarest times that a show gets better and better the more you watch it. I 100% recommend it. S+ tier.
BNA: Brand New Animal. I had some feeling that this will be absolute devastating and breathtaking but eh, I liked the characters and the whole story but it felt short and too surface level, they could've gone way more with the script like by the beginning but all the "danger" is gone even if there's a lot happening by the second half. It's still fun, probably you'll love this more than I did. A- tier.
Spy × Family. People thought this was overrated? Nah bro, it's a lot of fun you guys don't know, or maybe that's on my head, I've heard more people loving it than hating it. To me it's so rare when I like a popular modern anime so that's says a lot. A+ tier.
Tokyo Revengers. PEAK right there. This is also, one of the rare moments where I feel bad for the main character, but not only that but also his good old friends that he gets through on the story, it's so amazing. All the details, the plot twists, the danger, the thrill and suspense, feels so real that would make any anime that I've watched feel bad. Great anime, also one of my favorites, and I also 100% recommend it! Waiting for the next season. S+ tier.
Beyblade. Let's Beyblade!!
. That's the only thing I remember from the show. It was serviceable, I guess. Watched more than 15 episodes when I was a kid so counts for this list even if I don't remember anything about it... Just writing this down...: E+ tier.Jujutsu Kaisen. I'll be honest with you, I didn't like this too much. Just one episode I liked (episode 11 from season 1) and the rest were from meh to boring af. I don't think I would continue after I finished first season. The first opening and outro were probably the best from this anime lol, and that is saying something. If you had this on your anime watch list, skip it, don't bother. C- tier.
Midnight Horror School. This counts as an anime because Wikipedia say so. Thanks to this piece of art I learned the alphabet when I was very young. So sad that this piece of art has lost its Latin dub and to this day people like me who watched it on TV still remembers it. B tier.
Cowboy Bebop. One of the most important pieces of anime, and you're going to read some of the worst hot takes ever. Ehem. I liked it a lot. Not too much but I didn't hate it, and that's all that counts. Great show. A tier.
Steins;Gate. Oh. My. God. This is some quality... NO, that's way beyond high quality. A story where presents all their characters with very distinct personalities?? In an anime???!! Aside from Fullmetal Alchemist and Delicious in Dungeon, all the characters are great. This is one of the most amazing anime series I've ever watched.
Already in season 1 I was pretty sure I came across with some of the most compelling dramas I've watched, especially in an anime. I was shocked by the amount of thriller and suspense and plot twists, I was never like that in other series. Not only that but the whole series oh my god, each episode is INCREDIBLE, beyond great, not a single bad episode, but some are greater than others. How did they made this writing this fire??.
THIS is a real fucking anime that I just watched for two months, including the specials and the movie which I recommend you watch it full. I'm also including Zero btw.
Oh my god if I had a time machine I would erase my memory again so I would watch this again blind. How's not one heard about this one? I just saw someone commenting this one in a YT video and caught my attention, and so many months later finally got the time to watch from episode 1 and it is fucking unbelievable.
At first with the first few episodes I was losing a bit of hope because the characters were like a bit plain with the jokes, especially Daru like bro why are you like this in some moments, but other than that I have no problem with this. This is the kind of stuff I was expecting with Cowboy Bebop honestly which that continues with my hot take with that anime because many people mention it nonstop being a masterpiece and yada yada yada, but this, this is it, this is the Steins;Gate's choice.
Not only the best anime I've ever watched in my entire fucking life, but also one of the best series, ever. Steven Universe? Nah. Gravity Falls??? That is a lot of fun but wishes to be this at some capacity. Mob Psycho 100???? Sorry brother, that anime while lasted a bit longer to be my favorite anime, it had some uninteresting episodes and plot points in my opinion. Like I said already, this has none bad episode. I enjoyed this a lot that I could be watching more of it to the end of time. This is an adaptation from a visual novel videogame series and I feel like I want to see/play it aswell, that's how INCREDIBLE this is.
Please watch it, it is that good. A real fucking masterpiece. S+ tier.
And, that's about it! Other shows like Naruto, Pokémon, Shaman King, Inuyasha, Dr. Stone, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Saint Seya and many others that probably I keep forgetting which I just watched a few episodes of those in different time periods of my life. For that reason alone those are out of the list.
So, didn't you notice how much I wasted your time until this point? Now here comes the real real deal. My anime list ordered by my most favorite to least favorite and my ratings displayed beautifully because that's what all matters, right?? without any rambles and shit, that's what you came for!!1
