Soooo... how no one told me about this?????¿¿¿¿¿¿'¡
This will be a new series of blogs where I say what things changed on my Error Message Generator a day after I release an update.
The Gallery has been redesigned. This would make conservatives so mad because I redesigned something without any reason. But there's a real reason about this.
Actually there are two reasons. First reason is because it needed to show less error messages on the page to decrease bandwidth, and the second reason is to redesign the layout to be more mobile flexible. It's now readable on smartphones!
Oh, and now when you click an error message there, it'll show the message in full and other details below like the date when it was submitted, and the colors or icons being used. A good move to reduce submitted copies on the Gallery.
A new option to sort 'Hall of Fame' error messages. Another thing I changed on the Gallery is this option to sort and view 'Hall of Fame' error messages, since the submitted ones had one already it would make sense to add one to the other.
New icons. Now there's 108 new icons to choose, and almost all of these were selected because promise something funny, which is what the generator is made in the first place... everyone forgot about the real intention behind Atom Smasher smh smh. This was my last resort to make this update be more substantial. I'll be saying the reasons behind that at the end of the post.
Sightly minor changes on the interface. The main layout on the generator also got minor changes which were bug fixes, the icon section, the fonts and got rid of the counters at the bottom, it got useless to me after a while. Also, the 'I want to send this to the gallery!' option is disabled by default until something changes on the generator itself. Another goodie move to reduce submitted copies on the Gallery.
Now the moment of truth.
If you remember reading a post (which probably no one) where I said that the update will be big and all of you are gonna love it?? Yeah? no.
There's a lot more that I wanted to release but as of right now I'm still working on a fonts feature. That is one of the many that will be on the NEXT update this time for sure. Just wanted to release what was done yesterday because, uhm, it's a day of all time to release something.
Nevertheless if you liked this new, small update, I really appreciate your support, even if that support is almost non existent that I still work on this project with a lot of passion and heart.
