2010 was a special year
That year is when I think I first discovered the internet for the first time. The first thing that I did when I went to a cyber-cafe was to play a Super Mario flash game, and it was "Mario Forever Flash". I'm pretty sure it is because of the menu, I remember struggling to start a new game and seeing that screen. I don't remember what website was though, I only remember that it looked everything green, and below showed other related Mario games.
Later on I discovered "Habbo Hotel", "Plants Vs. Zombies" and many other PopCap Games such as "Zuma" because I was a PopCap fan, "Diner Dash" and many more PC games. Other websites like YouTube and Argim were the first websites that I've visited, which the latter was a forum where users also shared java mobile games and many other things for your phone. That website stopped offering that stuff years later because of copyright reasons I think.
During those years I had a teacher that I'll always remember, and she was very nice and supportive person. Thanks to her my classroom from that time went to many interesting new places just as fishing coasts, zoos and a cinema. Since I saw the characters from "Habbo" I wanted to draw like that (because these were designed like rectangles and basic shapes) and so I started to draw like that and she liked every drawing I made even by the fact that I was not an excellent student. If it wasn't for her probably I would stopped drawing.
That year also was the last time that I saw her, and I gifted her my drawings and "books" that I made. I don't know what happened to her because years later her Facebook account just disappeared and nothing more. Tried to contact her again years later but I've found nothing. I hope she's doing great.
Clearly a special year for me.
